Description
The coast live oak woodland at this park is its main feature, with many trees going back hundreds of years. Prior to reaching the woodland, at the entrance, is an indoor nature center with exhibits like snakes and frogs that staff may take out for up-close viewing. Past the nature center on the right, is a stage with bench seating, utilized for wedding ceremonies. The woodland begins after that. To maintain this historic woodland, the city of Anaheim does utilize artificial irrigation in some areas. A pleasant manmade stream runs through the middle of it for example.
