Description
After Irvine Regional Park, Mile Square Regional Park might be the second most recognized regional park in the county. This is due to its centralized location and easy-to-remember name. Its named after its square shape and being one mile in length on each side. If accessing by vehicle, the park has two vehicle entrances. One on Euclid Avenue near Warner Avenue, and another on Edinger Avenue at Ward Street.
Only about a quarter of the “Mile-Square” is used for the actual regional park. Other things shared in the space include the Mile Square Golf Course, David L Baker Golf Course, and the Fountain Valley Recreation Center and Sports Park. Mile Square Golf Course has the largest area designated and takes up a little more than half the space.
