Description
Longview Park is a small summit with an ocean view in Laguna Niguel. Getting there requires entering a gated community, which is publicly accessible until 5pm. Guests just have to press the small button to the right of the keypad to open the gate (see picture). After that, parking is on Park Paseo Street alongside a small playground area. Behind the playground will be a paved path that needs to be taken to get to the summit (see picture). The path will zig-zag up the hill to the top and takes about a few minutes. It requires some effort, but the distance is short and there are benches to rest at once there. Hiking in groups of two or more is better here as the space is in a semi-wilderness area.
