Description
Irvine Ranch Historic Park takes you back to Orange County’s agricultural years. While not a natural space, the open lawn, orange groves, gazebo, and picnic patio closely resemble the original landscaping of the property. The library is a replica of the ranch house occupied by the Irvine family that burned in 1965. It stands in its exact original location. Additional replicas of some farm worker houses are on the northeast end of the park. The picnic tables and lawn are first come, first serve and cannot be reserved ahead of time. For parking, use the Katie Wheeler Library parking lot. The park is in front of the library. Run by OC Parks. Call (949) 923-3748 for additional inquiries.
Note: The library is currently transitioning from being a county library to a city library and renovations are actively underway.
