Coastal Peak Park

Coastal Peak Park is in Newport Coast, Newport Beach, CA. It’s situated on a hill next to Crystal Cove State Park. There is a long drive uphill to get there. The state park’s trails are on one side of the street and Coastal Peak Park is on the other. Street parking can be limited on the weekends due to hikers and mountain bikers parking here as a result. There still should be parking in the park’s designated lot though. There are no views of the ocean or skyline, but the higher altitude of the park is very noticeable, especially in the large lawn area. The park also has a covered shelter with 4 tables, bathrooms, a playground, and a baseball field.
