Summary
The grove of cedar trees at this park is how it gets its name. Although not a native tree to the county, they offer a different landscape effect compared to other local park landscapes. The park’s largest area is the open lawn in the center, with the cedar trees found along it’s right side. Visitors can take a walk around the lawn on a paved sidewalk. There are picnic tables to sit at along the way. Closest to the parking lot, on the south end, are the bathrooms, playground, and picnic area with several tables available to rent. The far left side of the park has a path that goes north, with access to the south end of Peters Canyon Regional Park. This entire park can be rented for special events, such as when a Renaissance Fair was held here. It possibly may not be ideal due to limited parking spots in the parking lot, but street parking is also available when no closer spots are available. Phone number is (714) 573-3326.
