This park is the lone remaining natural area in the city of Santa Ana. The city has been focused on preserving it, and its public usability has greatly improved as a result.
Improvements
Park usability has been enhanced with several improvements:
- New playgrounds
- Improved walkways
- Overall cleaner from the trash pickup efforts
Areas and Access Points
The park has different sections with separate access points to each.
Off Memory Lane
- Access Point 1: Leads to the Nature Center and Archery Range.
- Access Point 2: Leads to the main playground area and sport fields.
Off Main Street
- Access Point 3: Leads to a secondary playground area, but also connects to the main playground area.
Features and Activities
The Santiago Creek watershed runs right through this area, featuring a rockbed alongside the park that can fill with water after rain. The park spans 34 acres and offers several activities:
- Lawn bowling
- Archery
- Tennis
- Events at the nature center
- Walking
- Picnicking
