Description
Land for this park was acquired by the county in 1974, and the park opened in 1981. There are multiple areas that can be reserved in the park for gatherings, just depends on what features are most important to you. There’s an uncovered picnic area surrounded by trees, a large covered picnic area, picnic tables next to the lake, etc. The park also has baseball fields, tennis courts, playgrounds, a centralized lake, and a trail that loops around the perimeter. There is a fee to park ($3 on weekdays/$5 on weekends), but there’s also free street parking on Rosecrans Ave if you manage to find a spot. Run by OC Parks. Call (714) 973-3170 for more.
