Serrano Park
Park Description and Amenities
Serrano Park is located in the Serrano Heights neighborhood of Orange, CA. The park and the neighborhood were both established in the early 2000s. The park sits at the highest elevation point of the neighborhood, in a small valley at the base of the Peralta Hills. Peralta Hills separate the city of Orange from Anaheim Hills to the north. Local residents frequent the park to walk around the path that circles the greenspace next to the hills.
In addition to the greenspace, other park amenities include:
- Playground
- Bathrooms
- Volleyball court
- Basketball court
- Picnic tables
The park is well-lit at night, though local wildlife, such as coyotes or rabbits, are more active during those hours. Guests can either park in the designated lot or on Apache Creek Road.
Fee if wanting to reserve
The picnic pavilion and greenspace can be reserved. Jumpers are allowed but may require a permit fee. Pavilion reservation fee is $60 for 5 hours for residents and $80 for non-residents. The three pavilion tables cannot hold more than 24 people without bringing additional tables. Visit here to reserve and to check greenspace rates. Greenspace rates vary depending on guest count.
